RECYCLE AND EARN

More and more Filipinos are becoming environment concious though sad to say still majority are uncaring and environmentally unconcious and aware. Some are are made aware but so painful to see them not apply what they're taught or made concious of. We have so many NGO's helping to preserve and care for our environment. Livelihood programs are taught in different communities, organizations and schools on how to recycle and save the environment and earn as well. From paper we can make bags, baskets and etc. But what is very popular now and because of the fashion and technology, more are using tarpauline posters. One of our participants in the workshop is earning good from recycling tarps now. Just imagine so many big and small companies and even private people use tarps for advertisements and the like, throw them after use and polute our environment. In one of our outreach activities in one of the squater areas in Manila, we taught them different livelihood programs and one of it is making bags and wallets from used Tarpaulines. Each of the participants came out with so many different styles and designs. The Filipinos are really creative and imaginative, the outcomes were all so beautiful and durable.
Let's all join hands, let's save mother earth while earning.
